Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus
Summer Conference
July 18-20, 2008
The Stonewall Democrats of Alachua County will host the Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus Summer Conference on the weekend of July 18-20 in Gainesville, FL. Registration is $35 for members of the state caucus and $50 for non-members before June 16.
The basic itinerary is as follows:
Friday Night Social – Wild Iris Books and Café
Saturday Meeting – UF Hilton Conference Center (lunch included)
Saturday Night Reception – Pride Community Center of North Central Florida

Representatives from the Human Rights Campaign, Equality Florida, and the Florida ACLU LGBT Advocacy Project will speak at the Saturday meeting. In addition to the usual roster of local and statewide candidates and officeholders, we are planning to include conversation panels on topics such as gender identity ordinances and intersections among Democratic groups.
Conference Fees
Before June 16:
Members of State Caucus and/or SDAC - $35/person
Non-Members of State Caucus - $50/person
Student Rate (ID Required at Check-in) - $35/person
After June 16:
Members of State Caucus and/or SDAC - $50/person
Non-Members of State Caucus - $75/person

Directions
The Stonewall Democrats of Alachua County asks conference attendees to bring toothpaste and/or bath soap to donate to the Gainesville Area AIDS Project's (GAAP) TREE Project. Donation bins will be set up in the conference meeting room.
